About Mimi, Missy & Max
I took ENGL 3320 (Children's Literature) with Professor Nancy Sutherland while at Augusta State University.
This class required that we create a children's picture book. I drew upon a true-life experience, tweaked it a little, and made my childhood cat the star of the book. I put a lot of work into the book -- especially the art and production -- and I love to share it with others.
This children's literature class, along with ENGL 3330 (Adolescent Literature) proved to be two of my favorite classes during my four years at Augusta State. These two classes and Professor Sutherland left me wanting to pursue a graduate degree in children's literature!
